Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Welcome!This is a featured page

Welcome to monitoringsocialmedia.com! This community site is designed around the information needs of (prospective) buyers and vendors of social media monitoring services, and has several key objectives - providing buyers of these solutions with the information they need to make the most strategic purchase decision, and serving buyers and prospects alike with a venue to share feedback, perspectives and perceived needs which solutions vendors can capitalize on.

With the rapid advance of social media, interest in media monitoring and analysis has grown by leaps and bounds over the past several years. A large number of vendors now offer tools and solutions in a wide variety of options. But with this large and expanding marketplace, buyers of media monitoring solutions have difficulty making informed purchasing decisions, and often do not even know which questions to ask.

The founders of this marketplace, Stephen Debruyn and Connie Bensen, both have extensive experience in the media monitoring field, and will support the development of this community in order for it to meet the information needs of marketing, PR, and other corporate professionals, and allow them to communicate interests, issues and needs. It will at the same time offer a platform for vendors and industry experts to present information, post white papers, case studies and presentations, and specify the specific benefits of their monitoring solutions.

Before you start perusing the guide, consider this first... The guide to social media monitoring tools section provides information about a number of tools and services in easy table formats, while other pages provide purchasing criteria, industry definitions, resources such as white papers, relevant blogs posts and presentations, while the best practices section features industry case studies. The top navigation bar features news and videos related to social media monitoring.

Please let us know how we can best advance the interests of the (social) media monitoring and analysis community. Sign up as a member! You are all invited to join this community and take part in the conversation!
