Spam Yes, the tool allows for spam removal. Clients can see what's removed as spam, and they can return it to the main search results if they wish. Clients can also tag articles as spam. If they do, it is instantly removed from the search results.
Historical data Historical data is available. SM2 can retrieve data going back to July 2007. Of all historical data, the complete data set is available.
Trend analysis Trend analysis is available, for historical data, as well as for subsets of the data. Analysis can be applied to 36 meta data fields.
Reporting services SM2 provides reporting services, both realtime and historical reports.
Export options Reports can be exported in .csv, .xls and .xml formats. The API is available for export options.
Dashboard A customizable dashboard is available.
Analysis services Analysis services are available as part of SM2. Analysis parameters include: Volume over time, Volume by media type over time, Share of voice by media source, Share of voice by media type, Share of voice by media type over time, Analysis by author, Analysis by topic, Geomapping, Sentiment and Tone
Sentiment analysis Automated sentiment analysis is provided as part of the analysis component of the tool. Sentiment scoring can be applied to archival data, is available at no additional charge, and is applied immediately.
Rating by tone The rating scale used is a five-point scale.
Interface with BI solutions Yes, Alterian has a new solution called Adept which allows for integration with other BI solutions.
Real time alerts Yes, they are distributed via email as they are received.
